Jamie Pursley

Candidate for the Holding Village Townhomes board — first homeowner board.

Annual meeting: Thursday, October 29, 2026, 6:00 PM on Zoom. Written objections to the 2027 budget are due 6:30 PM that same night.

Personal candidate site — not the Holding Village HOA, and not PPM. This is my own tool for my candidacy, and — if elected — for tracking owner issues I raise. Board business itself happens in official meetings with official minutes through PPM. Nothing here is an official HOA announcement, and no neighbor's name or unit number will ever be published here.

Personal candidacy statement

Yet to be created. This space is reserved for Jamie's own statement, in his own words, once he has talked through the issues below. No statement has been drafted here.

Why I'm running

I'm a townhome owner, and I'm running so townhome owners have direct representation on the first homeowner board, and so quality-of-life issues get addressed properly — with a way for owners to see where an issue stands, not just submit it and wonder.

Note for review (not for publication as-is): this section is deliberately short. No candidate speech is included here — that is still to be talked through, not drafted.

The issues I want to work through

These are the topics owners have raised and that I want to discuss properly before taking a position — not a list of promises. Details below are kept to what is already established; specifics I have not yet confirmed are marked as open questions.

1. Parking

Open questions to work through: guest spaces, overnight street parking, fire lanes and grass parking, work trucks and trailers — and whether the pressure is community-wide or concentrated in particular areas.

2. Common area immediately adjacent to homes

Open questions to work through: which common area, and whether the concern is use, upkeep, drainage, or foot traffic — and what impact it has on the homes next to it.

3. Service outages — primarily internet

Many residents work from home, so an outage is not just an inconvenience — it can mean lost work time. Open question: how often and how long outages run in Holding Village, and what neighbors have actually experienced.

4. Satellite internet policy

I want a written policy that serves all interests, not a blanket ban and not a free-for-all. My own questions to PPM — who owns and maintains the roof over my unit, and which covenant section covers antennas and satellite dishes — are still unanswered as of the PPM compliance team's holding reply on October 26, 2026, which acknowledged receipt and said the team is reviewing. One idea I have put to PPM for discussion is a non-penetrating vent-pipe clamp for a ~12-inch Starlink Mini — no holes, no shingle damage, fully removable, painted to match the roof, on the rear slope. That is a proposal to discuss, not a settled policy.

5. Garbage collection

Open questions to work through: missed pickups, bins left out, overflow, and where bins are stored between pickups in a townhome setting.

6. Landscaping

Open questions to work through: mowing frequency, beds and mulch, trees, dead spots, drainage — and whether the gap is standards, contractor accountability, or communication about when work happens.

7. Property maintenance — roof, siding, exterior painting

The big money question. Assessments stay at $230/quarter for 2027. Open questions: is there a published reserve plan and schedule behind roofs, siding, and painting, and — tied to the roof question above — what is association responsibility versus individual responsibility? Homeowners should reasonably expect a published schedule, a reserve study, and a timeline — the exact documents are still to be confirmed.

Owner issue form

Submit an issue in general terms — category, what happened, and how to follow up with you. Your submission itself stays private; only an anonymized summary (category, date, status) would ever appear in the tracker below. No names, no unit numbers, no verbatim complaints published.

Form wiring is not live in this draft. Before anything goes public, you need to approve the contact method (for example, a form service or an email address you are willing to publish). Do not publish a personal email address here without saying so explicitly.
